C'est Le Diable: Did The Devil Appear in France?

Match that with being in the presence of God and his Holiness. When Jesus visited Simon Peter at his work place –the sea as they fished, he found them having a tireless and empty nets night. To compound their frustrations, he tells Peter to launch into the deep one more time. So much advice from some one who has never fished you would say. But Peter casts out his nets just one more time at the bidding of the master and he caught fish to the point that the nets were breaking and the boats were sinking. The awe and majestic splendour of such a man. Even the fish listen and obey him mulled the over whelmed fisher men. No wonder Peter’s next words went beyond worship when he said, ‘Depart from me, Lord. I am a sinful man.’

I have always wondered what it would feel like being in the incarnate presence of God. But this week a couple of French suburbanites reported an eerie presence altogether which they termed ‘le diable’. Read More
