Reformed. Christianity. Evangelism. Modern Culture.

Europe: 2012 Reformed Christian Conferences you shouldn’t miss.

Well this is not a complete list but these are some of the conferences I have come across within Europe (so far) and I  hope to update the list when I come across others:

1) Reformation week (GERMANY and SWITZERLAND)

Are you interested in discovering the history of the Reformation in Germany and Switzerland during the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries? Then why not join us for our Reformation Week, 3rd – 10th May  2012. I ATTENDED THIS CONFEENCE. READ AND SEE SUMMARY OF EVENTS HERE!

Haus Barnabas im Engel (This is a brilliant Christian guest house in the beautiful Black Forest)
Wiesentalstr 47, 79694 Utzenfeld, Germany

2) Reformation Resurrection Camp 2012 (DENMARK)

Reformation Resurrection 2012 is a four day conference in the Danish countryside devoted to the furtherance of the Gospel in Europe and around the world. There is a lot of talk today about “new reformations” with new solutions to new problems. But we face the same problem today that we did 500 years ago – the pulpits of Europe have abandoned the Gospel. Reformation Resurrection 2012 is a rallying cry to the same solution that the reformers risked their lives to proclaim. That sinful men can be justified before a Holy God by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone.

Tuesday July 10th to Friday July 13th 2012 (week 28).

WHERE:
Skroedstrup Boarding School
Skroedstrupvej 26

3) Aberystwyth Conference  (WALES)

When: 11-18 August 2012 . The Aberystwyth Conference takes place every August with over 1,500 Christians gathering in Aberystwyth for a week of Bible teaching in the beautiful surroundings of Cardigan Bay. The main focus of the Conference is preaching meetings held in the Great Hall of the University Arts Centre. This year we welcome for the first time Conrad Mbewe from Zambia as our main speaker. Conrad is the pastor of Kabwata Baptist Church, Lusaka which has overseen the planting of nearly 20 Reformed churches in Zambia and surrounding countries. He is an author and internationally renowned speaker and we are glad he is able to bring God’s Word to us at the morning Conference Addresses during Aber 2012.

The evening preachers include Neville Rees, Brian Edwards and Art Azurdia who have all previously been used of God to bless those attending the Conference. Lindsay Brown will speak for the first time at Aberystwyth.

The three prayer meetings held each morning are a key part of the Conference and are both well-loved and well-attended. Children are well catered for with Bible-based meetings for 5-11 year olds and 11-14 year olds which take place during the morning sessions. A crèche is provided for children over 1 and under 5 years of age.

This year brings the 37th annual School of Theology at the Tabernacle, with very many pastors, Christian workers and church officers attending, and younger people seeking a more biblical and committed style of Christian life and service.
This year’s emphasis on the work of the Holy Spirit is particularly needed at a time when separation from worldliness is abandoned by many, and ‘phenomena’ are sought after more than holiness.
These sessions seek to promote the real work of God’s Spirit, and the authentic way to know His power and blessing.

      Dear Jonathan,

My name is Mrs.Gladece Grunner From Kenya,I was married to late Mr.Odiseh Grunner a contractor and diamond dealer for Thirteen years in west africa before he died in the year 2010

He died after a brief illness that lasted only two weeks Before his death we are both born again Christians.Since after his death, I decided not to marry again. When my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of (US$7.3m.in a security company here in Abidjan Cote d’Ivoire.Presently, this money is still with the Security company in Abidjan.

Recently,My Doctor told me about my condition due to my cancer problem and having known my condition I habe decided to handle over this money to a HONEST and God fearing Individual, group organization that will utilize this fund for the services of mankind, helping the motherless homes, orphans, widows, propagating of the Gospel and missionaries,as desired by my late husband when he was alive.

I took this decision because I dont have any child to inherit this fund, and I don’t want this money to be used ungodly. I want you to always remember me in your daily prayers because of my up coming Cancer Surgery, although i am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going.

Write back to me as soon as possible because any delay in your reply will give me opportunity to look for another person for this same purpose. With God all things are possible. As soon as I receive your reply I shall give you other informations on how you can receive this money in the trunk box from the Security company.

I will be glad to hear from you soon. May God bless and keep us as we seek to serve him.

      Yours in Christ.
      Mrs.Gladece Grunner.

Re: Reformation week (GERMANY and SWITZERLAND). There is a concessionary rate available for people on a low income, so don’t be put off by the cost! Write to Len Holder if you would like to go but cannot afford the full price, and they may be able to help you.
