Real House Wives of The Bible Seem to Have Left The Gospel Out Too?

Trying to take a peek into the lives of Western Christians? Well hope you have the money to purchase their videos first. There was once a time when evangelists did what the name said – proclaimed the good news of the gospel. No. Not evangelist Ty Adams who has come up with a creative way of making money while entertaining the flock. You see…
Ty Adams, evangelist author and web-based Christian advice columnist, is working on another Real Housewives franchise:The Real Housewives of the Bible. Yes ladies and gents, the Bible. Wait, what state is that in?
Adams’ two-part DVD series will chronicle six women’s lives as they navigate modern society — “striving” to keep their marriages intact — while sticking to Christian principles.
Adams says the idea spawned from “outrageous reality shows” like Real Housewives and Basketball Wives, which “have ruined and tainted our ability to secure good relationships and to make women into good wives,” So, what the world needs is some righteous babes, naturally.
Naturally? Well I am not against wholesome entertainment. But the way I see it are these so-called Christians trying to out do the heathen in the field of entertainment or is this just some money making golden calf being paraded as a Biblical concept?
Either way we know self centered fads and materialistic ventures have always brought more shame to the name of Christ and most important of all fall short of proclaiming the gospel.
When oh Lord shall you send us an evangelist who will preach your Word without fear? A man who will not pander to base instincts of this world? What we need are not ultra painted, pasted and vocal house wives, we need real Christians ready to preach the message of grace and stand with Charles Spurgeon in saying….
“If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees, imploring them to stay. If Hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for.”
