Britain’s NHS (National Health Service) is changing fast. Many say that a hidden agenda is relentlessly pushing for drastic erosion of traditional family values and roles. You see…
The Health Service has removed the word ‘dad’ from a pregnancy handbook for fear of offending gay and lesbian parents.
Officials decided to use the term ‘partner’ throughout the 200-page guide, titled Ready Steady Baby, after receiving a complaint that ‘dad’ was discriminating against same-sex couples.
But the omission of the word has angered some campaigners who claim that traditional family values are being undermined.
Norman Wells, of the Family Education Trust, said: ‘This is all part of an agenda to present as natural a type of family that cannot be created by natural means.
‘The NHS should not be squandering taxpayers’ money to advance the cause of a minority interest group.
‘No matter how much effort is made to present positive images of families headed by same-sex couples, the fact remains it takes a man and a woman to create a child.’Robert Oxley, from the TaxPayers’ Alliance, said: ‘It’s barmy that the NHS is wasting money reprinting guides because of a single complaint.
However I think this new development is a really good start….I wonder if there are some things that will be changed in case they offend heterosexual couples too? Or better still how about asking for changes to somethings that offend (umm) God?
This then begs us all to ask:
Who shall we use as the source of moral absolutes?

Who cares if it offends f****ts.
I do not care if you print my comment or not, they are still f****ts.
Ron, I think you are confusing the agenda with the person. You must desist from using offensive language. What would happen if God dealt with you the same way you are dealing with others? The agenda may be wrong or even immoral but do not attack the person…point at the agenda and tell us which moral absolute you are using.
What would happen if God dealt with the gays in America the way he dealt with them in Sodom and Gomorrah.
What if God dealt with liars, thieves and any one who lusted the same way. My sin is no better than yours or theirs. We all have sinned and have fallen short of God’s righteousness. We all have become unprofitable. But God by his grace chose to punish Jesus Christ in place of us….so that the glory goes to him alone.
So what are we supposed to call him? Mad?
Good question 🙂
As a Christian you are supposed to turn from your sin and ask for forgiveness and not turn back to that sin. God him self thought homosexuality was bad enough to destroy not one but too cities, so I guess it is a pretty bad sin since it goes against everything God him self tough us as normal way to live, which tells us that he never meant for anyone to be a homosexual. If you do not turn from your sin then you are telling God he has no Idea what he is doing.
I find the change offensive and absurd. You will always offend someone and this change will offend those of us who like the word.
The christian response to this is to claim to be offended and impart upon the British government that they are offending people by making the change. When one fathers a child, they are not its partner BUT its dad. Also, believers need to stop legitimizing sin and giving rights to those who practice their sexual alternative. Sexual perversion is not a race of people, it is not a civil right, it is not normal and it should not be given the rewards of the normal lifestyle.
Love does NOT eliminate discipline, if it did then sodom and gomorrah would not have been destroyed nor would the pre-flood world. God disciplines all the itme yet He still loves. Christians are distorting this idea by omitting the discipline aspect of faith.
