Interesting and oh so wrong…
Wow that is good! Short, clear, Biblical and Gospel preaching!
16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Proverbs 6. The witness and he that soweth discord are people. The sinners themselves. When one becomes reprobate which is Satan’s purpose. God views your constant lifestyle of abominations and gives them away. Here is what the Psalmist David, a man after God’s own heart, said…
Psalm 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
Romans 5:8 – But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
If God didn’t love us as sinners, none of us would be redeemed. When you start saying God hates sinners, you need to recognize that that’s you and me.
God wants us with humility & love in our heart. Jesus doesn’t hate sinners; he just isn’t a friend of sinners. Jesus Christ became sin on the cross so we would have the HolyGhost to wage war against sin.
Glory to God.
