Er, Seeker How Do you like Your Church?

A “seeker-sensitive” church is a church whose main purpose is to try to make the church look more attractive to unbelievers. Many churches use technology and media to drive outreach to the communities. Most say this is a powerful outreach tool, but the effects of it can, and will, be very unhealthy for the church as a whole.

    A very insightful article I had read a while back was “Preaching without Reaching” by David Mills (who, by the way is Romish so filter the jargon) posted here: http://touchstonemag.com/archives/article.php?id=20-06-025-f
    As I watched my own local body disintegrate in to the black hole of relevance, I gave a copy of this article to the Preaching Elder but alas…
    They have since changed their name and joined the latest EACH craze that has descended upon Detroit ( a whole nother story) and I have move on to a Reformed Baptist church where they still preach that irrelevant Gospel of Jesus Christ.
