Are there still any preachers who still preach Christ and him crucified like George Whitefield?
…there might be slightly different preferences regarding the used commentaries – however most important is to start doing Bible study like Whitefield, Spurgeon, Georg Mueller etc.
I thought it was Spurgeon who did this. I got that one wrong. I wonder why he didn’t use Calvin’s commentary. I’ve been doing similar lately (sans Greek) and use Henry and Calvin, sometimes Gill too.
